About the Role
As part of our HR / RPO function, Gencell Technical Services are acting on behalf of an engineering consultancy to recruit for a Design Manager with strong experience in Life Sciences. This role is permanent.
Responsibilities
Working with the design team through the scheme design stage and the delivery team through into implementation and handover.
Providing role specific technical expertise in design management.
Managing design teams and driving all design related project outcomes.
Liaising with the Project Director to produce, agree and manage a realistic design programme to satisfy procurement and construction requirements.
Representing the Contractor at client review meetings
Skill Requirements
Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Strong experience working with construction teams.
Experience working on the Contractor side.
