Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of a mission-critical data centre project in Spain. This is a 12-month contract role suited to a dynamic professional with a proven track record in data centre construction and a strong grasp of project management consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of the data centre project, ensuring timely completion, adherence to specifications, and budget compliance.
• Oversee all aspects of project planning, resource allocation, and execution.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality standards and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive effective decision-making and accountability across all project phases.
• Prepare, issue, and manage work instructions, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reports to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7–10 years' experience in delivering data centre projects.
• Strong background in project management consultancy services.
• Relevant educational qualifications (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, or similar).
• Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
• In-depth understanding of construction quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
