Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join the client-side team on a €100 million pharmaceutical facility construction project in Södertälje, Sweden. This role is critical in driving the successful planning, scheduling, and reporting of all project phases, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and maintaining control over programme performance through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and update the integrated project master schedule across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover stages.
• Collaborate with the project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate input and updates to the schedule.
• Conduct critical path analysis and proactively identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
• Lead planning meetings, progress reviews, and look-ahead sessions with client, contractor, and consultant teams.
• Track project milestones, key deliverables, and dependencies using industry-recognised tools (Primavera P6).
• Provide regular schedule updates, variance analyses, and earned value metrics to project stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support change management processes by assessing schedule impacts of scope changes, variations, or re-sequencing.
• Ensure planning activities comply with client-side governance and reporting protocols.
• Support risk management processes by contributing to time-risk analysis and scenario planning.

Requirements
Essential:
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a project planner on large-scale construction projects, ideally in pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Proven experience in client-side or consultancy roles managing contractor interfaces.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and strong MS Excel/reporting skills.
• Excellent understanding of project controls, scheduling principles, and construction workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• EU passport or right to work in Sweden.
Desirable:
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments or with cleanroom construction.
• Familiarity with Swedish construction regulations or project delivery norms.
• Swedish language skills (advantageous but not required).
